It never ends! I'm staying budget minded till I get out of college though. Then it goes on 37's

Btw, I will probably only be there on Saturday the 31st. I'm not so much in to camping. Also probably going to be risking taking the LJ. Progress has majorly slowed on the TJ. I can always just drive home in front wheel drive if my rear drive shaft blows up.

I'll be headed down at about 3 Friday to set up camp, and will be wheeling all day Saturday. Driving down same day as wheeling just sucked

My dad's coming with me this time. It's his first wheeling experience, so I know he will **** his pants sometime during the trip

I hope your driveshaft blows up 2 minutes into Falls Dam.

And that's 3.5 hours to you.

BTW, checked out that non-SYE kinda/sorta SYE deal. I like it. Certainly a lot cheaper. That would be good enough for a TT you think?

If I got that, I could save $300 on a TW shaft and put the cash on a sweet *** skid

3.5 hours? Puh-lease. I'd just unbolt that sucker and STILL hit all the trails with nothing but front wheel drive!

I thought about it some and that kind of driveshaft probably wouldnt work too well for a SWB TJ (too much angle). An IRO hack 'n tap and a shortened XJ front driveshaft might work though.

http://www.ironrockoffroad.com/Merch...egory_Code=PFT

Just $120 plus less than a $100 for a shortened XJ CV, then:

http://undercoverfab.com/transfer-ca...clearance.html

Only $365 shipped to NC with JF discount!

Btw, traditional SYE is $200+ and a TW shaft is $300, plus labor if you don't feel comfortable to do your own SYE install. Quite a bit pricey.
