snow in east nc?

Ill be moving to ft bragg in less then a month and i was wondering when and if it snows in that area. I'm from Utah so i love snow. Lived in el paso the last year and have been missing it like crazy.

Thanks

Bragg is a weekend trip to Asheville they have snow and mountains. I use the term mountain loosely as being from Utah they are a little smaller than you would be used too.

Depends on what year it is. lol Last year was crap, barely any snow. The year before that, we had a decent amount. But don't expect the snow to stay around very long below ~6000 ft. The only place it stays for long periods of time are on the snow slopes, but even then, those are usually just ice.

Live free. Stay wild.

When I stayed in Wilmington we had snow on the beach but living just outside Bragg the snow is rare. Also depends on the year like Xanatos said. Asheville is a great place to head to as well as anywhere near Boone or Bryson City.
