Swamp Lake is hands down one of my favorite trails and we could do that and bald mountain instead of Dusy, the opening of Dusy all depends on how our snowfall is, this year however its related to wildlife. Depending on the rigs that go Dusy could turn into a 3 day affair but I have run it many times with 4 built rigs in 2 days no issues and did not feel hurried though it is nice to be able to take it all in when your back there. The Rubicon, Swamp Lake, Pismo Beach to JV sounds like a great roundup to me. Hopefully JV will not be crazy hot in August, looks like this year it has been good.

I hear that! We're trying finish remodeling our entire house. That's why the jeep hasn't moved in 23 days, or even messed with the new bumper design or the wobble.

Art would you be able to towards the end of August? What are your vacation black out dates specifically?

Well I got sick says, if all else fails. The way it works, is like this, only 2 people at one time allowed on vacation at the time.
Worked there 17 year and still am 3 one from the bottom. Darn wish a few of those old stogies would retire.
Actually 2 are by the end of the year. Will not know what is available till the end of January

Hey guys so we are interested in doing this as well. Right now I have no particular dates filled up so we are flexible next summer. Also keep in mind that we are in Kansas so people coming out from east side have a free place to stay with us if that helps. I'll keep tabs on this as it gets closer. This will be an epic drive for most of us!

I really want to do this as well. I'm in Denver so that can be a meeting point as well. I don't have anything planned as of right now for next summer so the closer the date comes...the more I'll know.

More than likely, if the wife goes with, I'll be trailering the LJ out to California and back.

That would be sweet to wheel with a shinny twin.

Are you planning on making this as well? That would be sweet to have a few Impact Oranges on this ride.
