Rubicon Trail August 9th-11th 2014

Yes we are planning a year in advance ! We started planning the Moab trip 8 months out and it turned out great . If you havent seen the thread heres the Moab 2013 Jeep Forum trip . http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f330/...013-a-1444235/ Moab was awesome and I think the Rubicon will be just as much fun.

Right now the dates are tentative , and as the trip gets closer we can adjust the dates . I havent run the Rubicon , but I have been to the area to ski . With that said please post up any ideas and or things we need to do .

So heres the beginning of the August 9th-11th 2014 Rubicon Jeep Forum Jeep builders wheeling trip . Wow thats a bit wordy ... How about JF Rubicon 2014 instead

If i start saving now i might be able to afford the gas...

41 hours, 2700 miles..........ONE WAY

5400 miles / 15MPG =~360 gallons of gas x ~$4.00 = $1400 in gas alone.

would totally be worth it though.

It is worth it , and theres the obligatory stop off in Moab on the way out .

I guess I can check my uber busy schedule and see if I can find the time to hang out with the common folk. :D

Sub'd

Would love to make it, but that drive is even more killer (on me and my wallet) than CO/Moab. I'll be there if I can though. I will definitely be doing more wheeling than just the Rubicon if I go though, that's a long drive for one little trail lol.

Got to keep tabs on this.....I have always wanted to run RubiconTrail.

Moabrubi 07-17-2013 05:33 PM

Beasley this sounds like fun... It's not that far of a drive for me so consider me in! :D

I'd be interested in hitting Fordyce Creek afterwards also since it's not that far from the Rubicon. That would make a great trip! :cheers2:
