RUBI TRUX- Boone, NC questions?

I am considering having RUBI TRUX/High Country 4x4 do some work on my JEEP regarding a lift, tires etc.

Anyone in North Carolina ever used their services? Would like to have some feedback before I have them work on my Jeep.

I've seen some stuff they did and it looked great. I looked at a stock wrangler there and they were high priced. It had 3.07 gearing and in Boone it was HORRIBLE! The owner offered to regear it for me "for cheap" but I never got a price, nor that jeep.

Haven't had any work done, but I did buy my jeep there. They build a lot of jeep, I'm just not sure how well they build them.

I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about. I think...

Are you in Boone now? Your location shows Shelby, and there are plenty of shops capable of handling lift/tires closer than Boone. Hop over to and look for a local vendor near you.

Here's a thread where they started a map with shops.

If you do decide to go to them, they are great guys once you get to know them. When I was in college at App and was trying to replace a few parts on my Jeep they dug around in their shop, found some spares, and gave them to me for free.
