Richland Rd trail near Blowing Rock, NC tomorrow? (Sunday Feb 26)

Anyone interested in hitting this trail tomorrow? I'm thinking about headin' up there for a day run, should be highs in 40's sunny and clear

How do you get to this place, i drove down 421 for a little bit looking for it but i couldnt find the road? Can you help out with directions?

I went today with the gf and kids. I got up it just a little ways and we was by our self so if i broke i would be stuck. so i turned arond half way up the rocks what is past it does it get easier or more harder. since i was by my self i dint want to risk it thanks I don't have the best tires either

It's pretty tame. There are several hill climbs, and some ditches/wash outs to ride through, a couple water crossings, etc.

old nc 105

Taking the gf to linville sat. she has never been there so figured i would rent us a cabin and take the old nc 105 rd up there. jeep wrangler with 31s. should be alright i know its done alot of raining up there the past few days has anyone been up 105 lately ? if so how was the road conditions? it's been over 8 years sense ive been up there. was nothing more than a dirt road then with a few mud holes.

where is this "old 105"?? Ive been on a lot of old roads up there but I never knew that one.

old nc 105

Yea wasnt bad few mud holes, weather was great. 105 starts at lake james and ends up at the gravel entrance to linville falls. 181.
