Oh I totally agree, that's why my girlfriend is driving too ha ha but yeah it is a little steep for bringing kids along. So far as taking it as constructive criticism, its not my event anyway, just thought I would share as it seems like a neat opportunity.

I'm sure part of why they have the cost so high is that they don't want it to be a high impact event (part of the reason they have the trail closed the rest of the year) so I would assume they're trying to maximize on their return.
