So after a long talk with the wife we have a new plan for when I come back in 2014.

Background:

I sold my truck I used for landscaping before I enlisted.

I get out of the marine corps in October of 2014.

I am planning on returning to lawn care and home services to start my own business.

I want more room for camping.

I want to safely go to and from OHV's.

My buddy just gave me a Hobart 125 for $free.50

Plan:

Leave the jeep as is.

Purchase a full size truck.

Rent a uhaul trailer whenever we want to head to URE or gulches for 2014

Purchase my equipment along with a car hauler.

Fabricate racks for the side of the trailer to hold equipment as needed.

Modify the jeep to a point which I have not yet determined.

Haul the jeep around to wherever I want to.

Success.

My dad said he thinks a u haul trailer is only like $40 a day. It'd take a long time before the trailer pays for itself.

Planning on getting a skidsteer? Thats the only reason we have this trailer. CAn't imagine you need a car hauler for lawnmowers.

Not exactly lol, it's not so much for the zero turns or ride on as it is for hauling other stuff. Lawn care was more or less a front for the home care and house cleanings that my father and I would do. Which he still does and has capitalized on it. Him and his partner go to estate sales where the former owner died or something and the kids who got the house in the will don't want any of the antiques or stuff left behind. My dad being an antique and furniture hobbyist then goes in and charges them to haul away the items, and then on top off that he sells them for even more profit lol.

I branched off of his idea and would do more cleanups around houses then in them. Tree removal, shed removal etc. occasional lawn care and servicing. Gutter clean outs. Basically house maintenance stuff that most lazy people or the elderly cant or don't want to do.

Nothing is better than charging someone to take something from them and then selling it afterwards lol.

Basically in a nut shell, the trailer is like 40% for hauling stuff away, 10% hauling my equipment and 50% for the jeep lol

EDIT: I didn't mean car hauler as in an open/flat bed style. I want an enclosed car hauler. That way I can securely store all of my equipment as well.
