Well we are getting a canoe for the basin and buzzard bay, we are going to camp and fish the surf too when we get a chance. We will be there 3 days

Early morning topwater bite could be good for redfish and trout in the basin and buzzards bay area. Surf is questionable this time of the year. If it is going to be hot that area will be tough. Could try for a Tarpoon on the rivers side of the rock wall early or late.

I haven't fished off the surf there but I have fished up the road at Kure beach. Been wanting to plan a camping fishing trip out there sooner or later.
