moving to cary,nc

The wife got a job offer so we will be moving to Cary the weekend after thanksgiving. I know no one or nothing about the area, seeing if I could find some wheeling and repair buds. Maybe show me a few trails and local meets if any.Can never have too many friends!
Thanks guys!

Yeah I usually go to uwharrie 4 times a year. I live in Wilmington now, being 2 hrs from ure might make it more tempting. I rode around looking at homes in cary yesterday, the elevation changes are there so I would assume that there must be some good local trails for a little Sunday fun. Benderff, do you mean the local residential construction areas?

I would try looking for houses outside of Cary(Holly Springs, Apex, Raleigh, Garner, Morrisville etc)...depending on how much you want to drive back and forth to work, you might want to try outside of Wake County. Taxes are crazy here

You know what Cary stands for right? :P

Containment
Area
For
Yankees

If it's not supposed to move and does use duct tape.
If it's supposed to move and doesn't use WD40

I've just moved to the Cary area as well.
I've always heard:
Centralized
Area for
Relocated
Yankees

Also, just to throw this out there instead of starting a new thread
Any good junkyards around this area?

Cary isn't a bad place to live. Some nice people there but a ton of stuck up yuppies that think they are better than everyone. Like the one guy said taxes are crazy and covenants aren't much better. There are a lot of options not to far from that area that are better. I worked around that area for a long time. Know most of it by heart and not many local areas to wheel.

What part of Cary? My gf lives off Tryon rd so I spend plenty of time in that area.
