A ready welder would be cool, but again most of the Moab stuff isn't terribly hard on Jeeps

yeah a ready welder would be cool, why are those damn things so expensive! I was just thinking with mine.... a limp back to camp scenario or a didn't realize it till back to camp deal.... oh well it's a small body welder and aint **** to throw in the truck so I'll probably, throw it in the truck. If it get's used cool. If not, cool. But I bet if it does get used....... it'll be sweet to have around.

Other than BFE and maybe Pritchet most of the stuff is challenging, but not hard on Jeeps unless you decide to do a big oops
I'm hauling the Jeep in a 28' enclosed car trailer so the 500 lbs or so of stuff can't hurt but it sure could help. We normally wheel at SMORR and while its only an hour away being able to fix anything has come in handy. Of course I have a problem with the skinny peddle.

Any color will do as long as its black.

I'd leave it at home, I'm bring the shop on wheels and it will be available to anyone who needs it. It was kind of my point in building it.

We should have enough batteries among the group and a few pairs of jumper cables, I'll have to remember to pack a few rods and my old welding hood and that should get us by if we really end up needing trail welding

I used to but I have no clue where it is.

Question though, is there cellphone service everywhere or is that something to consider? I ask because I usually play pandora off my phone

Don't scare me Beasley! I know things happen, work stuff and this is a huge expense, and people end up not being able to make it, but I AM counting on YOU! Haha... I guess it could be like last time when I just showed up. And hung out with some Canadians for a couple days. And they were..... of course incredibly pleasant. That was 5 years ago, and they still invite me every year, unfortunately I've been unable to match up with their timeline again.

Ok maybe mike has one...if not I'll buy one.

Where I would like to camp we won't have much for service. The spot is up Kane Creek Canyon along the Colorado River. If I can find the coords on my phone I'll text them to you. The spots are about 8 miles from town, far enough from crowds but close enough to make trips back and forth.
