Xj looking for some help

hi i am originally from new york but go to college down here in Belmont before i came down to school i lifted my jeep xj but waited to last minute to do it and ran out of time before i could trim the fenders and other little things. was wondering if there would be anyone out there that had tools and a spare weekend to give a college kid a hand. i am also looking to try to find some people to wheel with its been so long since my jeep has been muddy and it just doesn't feel right.

Send the member "my1979impala" a PM. He is my old college buddy and has worked on a lot of Jeeps. He is in Winston-Salem so pretty close to you. He might have some time one weekend to help you.

How far are you from Winston salem? Also can you post a pic of your jeep and one of what you want your fenders to look like? I can probably help and it shouldn't take too long to do.

About an hour I believe and I will have no problem driving to you and it's just to trim the xj fenders in the front and do the cut and fold in the rear I can post some pictures later tonight for you to see what it looks like

Stephen, if there is one thing you know how to do, its how to cut up a Jeep.

Will do. I'm going to Boone this weekend but maybe the following weekend or something. Trimming the front and folding the pinch seam in the rear is easy. Folding the rear is a bit more tricky especially if you want it to look perfect.
