Hurricane Creek Nov. 3rd

There is a group of Jeeps heading to Hurricane Creek Trail, meeting at the Pilot truck stop off exit 24 on I-40 on Sat @ 12:00 noon. Some of us will be staying in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge on Sat night and possibly hitting Black Balsam Knob off the BRP at mp 420 on Sun.

Make sure you have license & registration with you, our group has had several run in's with Barny Fife on that trail. They usually sit at the beginning or the end of the trail & look for any excuse to write tickets.

Also make sure no one eats any of the biscuits at the pilot truck stop.

I'll bring some donuts for Barney! What's wrong with the biscuits? Maybe I should bring some of those biscuits for him instead, LOL

It's like eating a rock, we made the mistake one morning of eating breakfast there before hitting the trail. Never again.

I'd possibly like to tag along but I'm not 100% sure I could make it. I've got to hit another trail earlier in the day to find my wedding ring so depending on how that goes and any other unforeseeable plans, I might make it. Trying to talk another Jeep into coming if I do.

We'll be at the trail head at noon or shortly there after, meeting at the Pilot on exit 24 to top of fuel and meet a few others first
