Finding the local trails

Hey guys! I'm fairly new to the off roading game. I traded in my street racing shoes and never going back. Anyway what is the best way to find local trails? Thanks for any tips!

Well if you don't want to get arrested or shot with rock salt, I'd join your local wheeling club, they usually have the skinny on local spots, and permission to wheel on private land.

1994 ZJ, 5.2L/46RH, NP242 & D44HD Swap, 4" SA Lift, 31" KM2s, and all the usual... I only lifted it so I wouldn't have to drive my grandma to church anymore... ;)

Remember: Every time you call a Jeep a "car", God kills a kitten.

don't believe anybody that tells you that is legal to wheel on electric power lines.

The power company has the right away on them but the land is usually still owned by the land owner.

I'm on my iPhone so I can't post a link but look for "four wheelin' forums" and navigate thru there to the North Carolina section. Just looked in there and there is a bit of post to sort thru.
