I'm going to be in that area over the 4th and want to check it out. Been dying to take JKU out, its straight stock right now. Has anyone been there, is it fun?

Most of the road in the Croatan are gravel, that you can drive in. Some of the side roads are open to travel but are really short with a few bad puddles. They shut down most of the roads we offroaded on years ago.
