Be careful on Bumpus. Have recovery gear.

I tried last week and it was closed. They have two gates up now. I have been told it opens mid March. I figured the 16th was close enough.
Have fun if its open. Make sure to post if you make it out there.

Bumpus is very technical in certain spots, just be careful & maybe have a good spotter. This picture is from our last ride up there last year. It took 2 winches to get him back on the rubber.
I'd also recommend taking a chain saw since the trail has been closed for the last few months, very likely to have some trees down here & there.

Just letting you know so you don't waste time driving out this way, the gates are still closed at Bumpus as of 6pm tonight.

Well, did you go to Lake Houser yesterday or somewhere else? If so, any pics? I never heard of Lake Houser before but I looked it up and its only a few minutes from my SIL so I may check that out sometime.

How's everyone been? It's been a little while, my sons 6 months now so been very busy with him! Jeep is all fixed and painted. Let me know what you all have planned this summer or fall for some rides as the picture of my jeep on the roof show---- I'll be taking it easy!
