I'll be up there for new years eve until Sunday the 3rd. Hope there's some snow! It's been years since I've seen any.

my sister goes to app and visit her quite a bit especially during snowboard season

shes has a friend with a yellow tj on 35s i think and one with a blue xj on 31s and they took her on this firetower trail thats supposedly real sick but i havent had the chance to try it out yet. Im pretty sure its like 3 miles down king st behind some apartments on the right and im not sure if its illegal or not either so thats and extremely unreliable description.

I have definitely seen a lifted yellow tj with 33s or 35s. It has flat fenders or tube fenders or xenon fenders or no fenders if i recall correctly. (terrible memory i know, but i swear its one of those )

And yeah I've been up firetower a few times, its not that great compared to other trails out here, but its fun if you're in the mood for a quick run without driving far

Next time your up that way check on ackerson creek rd, I recall passing a logging road or two when I was on my xr650. Never went back to explore. Could be a fun rd, or could dead end 1/4 of a mile in

richland road is where we spend most of our time. its a little south of blowing rock down some back roads. if you took the time to venture down each part of it, you could spend all day in there easily. there is also a few shorter trails right in town behind the mall. just go to any ranger station and ask for a map of unmaintained roads, i have yet to visit the majority of them.

I have a few friends that go to school there. I'd be up there more often visiting if I had the Jeep. Anyways it would give me an excuse to go to Callalantee.
