Yeah you should be able to make it, I used to run my stock 4 banger YJ through here back in the day. We do go pretty often as my79impala said, I'll start posting in this thread when we're making plans to run it.

what kind of trucks do they have? ive seen everything from toyotas to those little 4wd gocart things honda makes back there. we took my friends trooper back there once and saw a guy in a suit on a scooter back there once. the only thing i wouldnt really suggest taking is something like a extended bed dulley or something big like that.

I've got a 2011 4dr rubicon. How far down Richland road do you have to drive to hit the trail? I did a search with Google map today I didn't quite see where the trail actually started.

I'm coming up this Saturday 2/4, I'll be leaving Gastonia around 9am so I think I should get there around 10:30 ish. Never been there so it would be great to have a guide...

richland road is the trail. it helps to have a guide but once you get on richland rd from 321 you just keep going on it. it starts as pavement then you get to a left hand curve and a little dirt parkinglot on the right. at that curve you cross the river straight ahead, theres a brand new concrete bridge there now but it says "private bridge stay off" so just go through the river beside it. then just go straight and the road will turn into the trail.

You would literally have to be an idiot to not be able to find this place after you turn off of 321- just keep going till it's dirt then keep going some more. And a 4 door JK Rubi will walk this trail, you will be fine.
