also known as Ivestors gap,Does anyone know if its open yet? Im thinking that it opens up in august. If so we need to get a group together and hit it up soon!

I did not realize there was an offroading trail up there! I'd totally be up for doing something. Sunday afternoons work best for me right now. Have you ever done the trail before? Would stock Cherokee be able to make it?

I have never drove it, i have hiked it and have seen a few jeeps but none that were stock.

Hmm. The one review of it I have heard of said it was an easy trail. From hiking do you think there is much chance of getting hung up on something?

Its right off the parkway on the black balsam parking lot, i have checked it out thru the forest service and after the 15th of august its open. We need to hit it sometime

I'd say we need to set a date then. All reports say that it opens mid-august. So does anyone have a preference on when they can do it? Sunday august 26th in the afternoon should work great for me.
