Woohoo! Ordered my lift today! 4 inches and it should be here by Friday so I can work on getting it on this next weekend. Small SNAFU though...the wife is going out of town on that Friday to a work seminar! So the determining factor on me going will depend on if Gramma will watch them.

"Either it's part of your suspension or a dinosaur bone..." Well it looks like you dug half way to china so i'm thinking dinosaur bone! lol Nice vid Cwmedic!

I went to Bumpus Cove today. This place is definitely in full swing. A camping trip is mandatory. Let's see if this video will embed.

Thats awesome!!! You found the same trail i was talking about.
I'll have to show you a video of us in the same mud hole with a 4d jk on 35's, he blew out a tire trying to gas it out of that hole.

Was it the sharp root sticking out of the ground at the end that got the tire?

We are not sure he went about half way a couple of times and it was noticed when he backed up far enough for us to see the back tire.

We never saw the object, but it popped the bead on the passenger rear tire when he was 2/3 the way thru & hard on the gas pedal.

Hmmm... There may be a rock or something in there. After reviewing another video, I noticed my front wheels dropped significantly farther into the mud at about that distance.

Did you find the staircase rocks or the trenches?
We ran out of time last visit & never got to those parts.

We ran out of time also because we weren't sure where the main section of trail was. We hit all the little side trails before we made it to the main one. That hole was the farthest we got.

Burgers make the grill too greasy to throw back in the jeep, you could byos (bring your own sammiches). If I run into the chip guy with his out of dates that he's willing to let go of then heck yeah.

Yeah, I don't mind to bring them, but I was thinking first time out with a new rig, just lifted and rear locked that I would like at least one run solo to get used to the ol' girl...the wife with have the JK in Durham where her meeting thing is at so bringing that isn't a option.

That's un-american, what kinda jeep drivin candler girl doesn't like hot dogs.
If you dont want your hot dog we'll give it to cwmedics dog after her lunchtime performance, but you should eat more than just chips for lunch.
