Yeah that weekend. I have never been there but a guy that i work with has been there in his JK and told me if i go to call him and he will go also, so i guess it was at least worth going twice! I guess it was a pretty good turn out last year so i'm thinking that if nothing else i can get'er dirty and watch some of the pro rigs hit the nasty stuff!!

presidents day weekend at gulches

You can count me out for gulches. It says on their flyer that last year they had 500 vehicles & 900 people show up. Nothing like paying $20 to set in traffic jamb on the trails. We have plenty of good free spots to wheel around here.

Don't breed em' if you can't feed em'.

I was going to suggest if y'all go, go on Sunday. I went last year on Sat. and there were a ton of rigs. They did a pretty good job of traffic control, but the park is only so big. The people that stayed to Sunday said they basically had the place to themselves. If I can get my rear axle put back together I'll try to head down for Sunday.

I think that was over the 4 days, and yes it would probably be a bit of traffic...but for me part of the fun of attending something like that is to pack a lunch, find a nice spot and watch some of the more extremely mod'ed vehicles hit the big nasties, not to mention it's nice for someone like me that is still looking to get gear for my Jeep to see it and ask opinions of those who have it on theirs.

Sunday may be a better option for middle ground.

So yes the going may be slow, lots of vehicles to check out and tons of interesting people to meet!

As far as plenty of free spots to go wheelin'...these I definitely want a list of!
