It was one of the first real tests of his Smittybuilt winch and required a double line pull, but he did manage to get him out. The Hummer was basically dead in the water, IIRC he had torn up his TC, his front "axle", and his tie rods.

No, I have a friend that has a H3 Alpha truck, (pictures at the bottom), there are also a few random pics from people ive been wheeling with, the green h1 is my bf, the white h1 and the white h3 are my closer friends.

How long is the trail that you guys went on today in between hot springs and marshall? Anyway I could aquire directions to it to check it out sometime soon?

The second one of the gold pathfinder was my last car, a 2001 stock nissan pathfinder, it had 30 atv's on it and that was the only thing that got us through the trail. That car was a beast, I sure hope the new owner takes mighty good care of that car like i did.

The jeep's only been off roading once so far, we need to work on a few things for it until we take it back off again, aka new tires. But Im looking forward to trailing more, espcially on my own (driving at least), majority of the time i've always been the passenger but Im ready to take charge.

Also, looks like you guys had a fun ride this weekend. We need to make it up there sometime and ride with everyone...

Lol no worries, we've been numerous places - hurricane creek off 40 west and another place we really liked was Beasley knob in GA

I checked out the 4x4 club on the net...looks good. I too, vote for a club in Asheville. Maybe after the holidays, we could drum something up. Small, would be good. Like I said before , I am in a large car club, and for a few members its a lot of work.

I joined the Trail Jammers a couple of months ago...Good group of guys. We've got a club ride at the Flats in Marion coming up on the 10th. If you're interested in joining I could see if you could join us for the ride.

Wrangleray, what car club are you in? wncrides?
