Well, my first thoughts after reading the "during the week" posts is maybe shooting for June's meet on a Sat or Sun. This should be a evolution to a day/time the most can make it...and/or maybe do a meet and greet breakfast then do a ride after for all those interested in hitting a trail.
Depends on where it's at, Sunday after church is best for me. I like your idea of meeting and then going wheeling, that would be awesome.
So long story short...my brother had a lawn job and asked to borrow my truck. Like a dumb *** i said "sure." He was to leave about 1pm and i figured he would be 2-3 hours since it was just one lawn. I call him about 5pm, he doesn't answer. I call him again at 545, still no answer. He calls me at 615...i ask him whats going on, one lawn is taking you 5+ hours? He said he underestimated it and the back yard was bigger than he thought it was, plus the grass was over grown so it took a few passes. I explained to him that the meet and greet was tonight and he had made me miss it. No matter what I was screwed...the car seats for the boys are in the truck which he has and the wife is at work with her Jeep with the other car seats. I had no way to transport the lil' buggers! I am so irritated...scratch that, pissed! I hate that I missed the meet and greet that I helped plan!! Talk about a downer! I hope all those that went had a blast, sorry I got jammed up and could not make it.
Treat each of the day's problems as your dog would...
If you can't eat it or screw it, piss on it and walk away!
If in doubt...HIT THE GAS!! It may not always be the right decision, but it will end the suspense!
The build so far....http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f22/project-predator-1342553/
