We are heading down Saturday from Indiana for vacation the entire week. We are getting into town Sunday, but will be staying away from Freeman until Tuesday. We'll probably be out there Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday if any of you are sticking around after the weekend.

Check out my build thread to see what we'll be in. 2003 TJ Patriot Blue.

Let's just hope the weather doesn't get nasty depending on what the low pressure system does.

I am planning to camp sunday night in freeman park. Am I allowed to fish as long as I have a fishing license? Can I make a wood fire as long as I use a metal pit with a screen cover?

You can fish as long as you have the license. Your allowed to have a fire, just has to be in a pit, and be natural fire wood, no construction debries. If you have any other questions shoot me a pm....I camp out there a ton. Ill be glad to answer any for you

North point is great! Went there today it is 20 bucks for a day pass or 100 for season. Lots of jeeps and a bunch of posers who got stuck! Drive the whole way out to the point it is a big party, had a great time!

I was there with some friends Saturday night and saw the band "Machine Gun". The Sea Witch is one of my favorite places on the island.

I live a few feet from the entrance to freeman park and we (my wife and I) are on the sand a lot.

A lot of people do not realize it, but there is a bar on the third floor of the Carolina Beach pier house at the end of Freeman park; the High Tide Lounge. They have a nice deck overlooking the pier and Freeman Park. I spend an inordinate amount of time there in the summer.

Yeah, you either love it or hate it; I love it. It was quite busy this weekend and we decided not to camp, but we enjoyed watching everyone. That parking lot down the street from the entrance to FP was a lot of fun to watch.

Wish I was still there had to leave last night to get back to work today. But will be making more trips down. Be on the lookout for a green 4 door Sarah lifted, fuel rims with 35's and a hot blonde riding shotgun! Lol

What time did you leave last night? I might have seen you. We drove up the beach about 8:00. I was in a patriot blue Tj on 33's.
