any trails in the triad area

What's up guys, just wondering if anyboody knows any trails in the triad area. High point/greenboro or surrounding area. I've seen a number of really muddy jeeps going by, but never seem to be able to stop em to ask. I know uwharrie, but just looking for something more local if there are any

Yeah its crazy. I found a bunch but they all have no tresspassing signs, and sometime chains blocking the entrances.

As far as I know you're going to have to drive at least an hour to find any real wheeling like Uwharrie. I live in Greensboro now but know alot of local spots back home (once again about an hour).

Id be happy with just a mudhole at this point. Even worse there is a jeep pickup near me that is always covered top to bottom in mud. I finally got close enough to ask the guy where he goes...and what happens? He runs on me like a bat outta hell swerving through traffic like he was about to be carjacked! Wow....not that serious dude. Who runs from a fellow jeeper? I'm not even a big guy, lmao. My one chance to learn of a spot around here.

Winston-Salem here. Any of you guys members of the Triad Jeep club? I'm gonna try and get over to there meeting on the 16th at Crown Jeep/Wendover in GSO, see what they're all about.

I usually head west or NW up towards the BRP or Piscah NF, there are some decent USFS roads there plus the Brown Mt. OHV park, good campimng areas there as well for weekend trips. Let me know if you guys wanna hook up for a day run out that way anytime soon. The USFS roads are always open, but Brown Mt. is closed like URE til spring.

Actually I think my G/F is a member of that club (she has a 4 door JK rubicon), its definitely still in the start up phase from what I have seen. I would be willing to go up there to check them out though. The Flats is going be open on Saturday the 14th if anyone is intrested also.

I am, we were talking in another thead.

We are still in the start up phase, which means its a perfect time to come out and see what you think! Nows a great time to join as you can help create the club you want! We meet once a month and our next meeting is Jan 16th at the Jeep dealership on wendover. I hope to see some of the guys from here there!

My name is Matt, and I'll be there.
