hey jankoid, how does camping work out there. are there designated campgrounds or is there a broad area of woods that you just have to stay in?

Depends where you stay. There are campsites along the road and random spots along the trail.

Pretty much camp wherever you want, Jankoid, SJones, and I usually stay on top of Daniel.

I'm going to try to be there by 3 or 4 on Friday.

Plenty for tents, although you might be on a slope. Not a ton of parking.

Yea, a very far walk. There's room, you just might be back closer to the trail.

You can camp pretty much wherever you want. It is pretty obvious where people have camped before along the trail before. You are welcome to join us on Daniel, the more the merrier!

More than you could ever need. The place we usually get is huge, hopefully nobody will have claimed it by the time we get there.

Far from parking, no. You can drive up to the camp site, no walking necessary. Unless you are talking about a parking lot, though I'm not sure why that would matter. You just camp right on the side of the trails. It is, however, a difficult spot to find if you've never been before. If you are camping on Daniel with Clay and I you will probably just want to meet one of us at the Outpost and follow us up to the site. I really doubt you want to be exploring the hardest trail there alone on your very first trip anyway.
