WFTW at Hillz N Hollarz August 21-22

I know this is a few months away but wanted to post it to let you all know about this event which I believe is very important.

Taken from the WFTW site:

Quote:
Wheelers for the Wounded (WFTW) is an organization with the primary mission of providing a weekend of off-roading, camping, and in some cases fishing, to our country's wounded military members all over the United States. This will provide them with much deserved fun and excitement as they traverse the most extreme terrain our great country has to offer in a variety of the best off-road capable vehicles ever built.

The secondary mission of the WFTW program is to increase awareness about our country's men and women in uniform in the hope others will do something nice for our service members. Finally, our last mission is to raise money for military based charities so that the effects of the WFTW organization will be felt long after the program has come to an end.

They are having events all over the country and Jason, the founder, will be traveling around the country living out of his jeep and trailer for 6 months. I have talked to him and he has left me know that there will be two Kentucky events.

August 14-16 in Hazard/Harlan and will be hosted by the Kentucky Mountain Crawlers

August 21-22 at Hillz N Hollarz and will be hosted by the Muddy Buddys (Ohio Based club)

I would like to have our members come to either of these events and ride and meet these guys. This is a great organization and I would really like to go as a club and show our support. I have contacted both club presidents of the clubs who are hosting the events letting them know that we are interested in coming and would be happy to help with anything. Everyone lpease check out the site, make a donation if possible and lets show our support!

Thank you!

Brad

Is this the one that Ian from Xtreme 4x4 came to help work on down at Oconee Offroad last fall?

Awesome Idea Brad! Maybe some of us can tag along and help if you all need some more folks those days......
