Planning on having a Louisville area meet and greet if there is enough interest. Would be May 20th at E.P. Tom Sawyer park in the parking lot off Freys Hill Rd. This is the big parking lot by the pool, there are some picnic tables and such in the north end of the lot, I would suggest meeting by that. If anyone else has a better place to meet at the park please let me know. I was thinking about 1:00 pm. If people are interested we can "bring your own Beef" and cook out for a late lunch. Want to use this opportunity to build relationships with fellow Jeepers and generate interest in trail rides, info swapping, rig builds, tool help, etc. Let me know what you think, post here if interested.
I should be able to be there.. That lot is super busy on sundays what about the other side at the Sawyer-Hayes Center off Lakeland Drive.. Same park but not as busy of a place.. Its where the old Assylum was located.
we can do either one because there are picnic tables at both. I didn't think the lot would be that busy because the pool wont be open yet. But if you all would rather meet in the south lot by the community center that's fine with me.
ah man! i wish i could make it, ill be out of town till the 22.. i hope this isnt gonna be the only meet and greet of the summer. i really wanna see all these jeeps and jeepsters!!

I keep seeing all of these other jeeps all over when I am out and wonder, I wonder if any of them even know about our meetngreet.. so I make this up tonight to print out and pass out to other jeep owners.. feel free to print and do the same.
I have it in a word file if anybody wants the file to print it out nicer. I don't see a way to post the file on here. Just pm me and I will send it to you.
The flyer says 2PM so we will do it at 2. I wouldn't plan on cooking out or anything since its gonna be a litter later. All jeep types are welcome, Willys, to JK, street to offroad. I hope that at least 10 Jeepers will show up and that this is something that we can do on a regular basis and let it grow. There is not a definitive Louisville Jeep club that I know of, and if there is I would like to get to know them, if there isnt maybe thats a tradition we can start.
I think we will have a decent turnout as long as the weather is warm. I have drove around where I live and put the paper in mailboxes for anybody I see with a jeep.. I'm sure some of you reading this have received them . WELCOME the JeepForum! Pass the info on to anybody you know. I have been keeping a stack in my jeep and if I'm out and about and see somebody in a parking lot or something I will give them one as I go by. I also thought about contacting Cross Jeep Dealership on monday to see if they would want to come represent.. Any thoughts on that?

Lets leave vendors and dealers out of this one for now. If we do end up getting anything going, maybe down the road we can get some dealers and MOAB offroad, and Louisville 4x4 to come out to a trail to represent or something.
