Lexington KY Wheeling

Any local places to wheel? I know there are plenty at the Gorge, Black Mountain, and Big Rock but I was hoping to find a place within 20-30 minutes, even if it isn't hardcore. I was wanting a place where I could go after work one night, ride for a few hours, and get home. Anybody have some property with wooded trails around that they would let me wheel on from time to time? My CJ5 has 33" and no other mods, so it won't take on anything real hardcore.

Well i am Not sure how far away from Lexington it is but you might Consider Dirty Turtle Off Road or DTOR near Bedford Ky. Its not extreme but it is fun.

Yeah, dirty turtle is nice but probably around 2 or more hours from Lexington. I'm not sure of any good wheeling very close to Lex but there's a chance that I'll be moving there in August so keep me updated if you find a place!

maysville, it used to be dirtbikes and atvs only, but was recently opened up to jeeps. last time i was there it was 2000 acres of tracks, pretty big for an orv park

Exit 49 off I75. Livingston ky. Small group of us will be there this Saturday. As long as you have tags and insurance you are legal to be there.
Imo DTOR is lame.

Yeah, sorry. Its looking like I'm moving to Cincinnati area instead of Lex. My girlfriend and I were waiting to see where she got accepted for law school so NKU is where we're headed. We'll still be down in Lexington for UK games all the time though.

So there are several places to wheel in Daniel Boone National Forest it looks likes. Anymore places, maybe around Laurel Lake or Cave Run Lake?
