anyone heard of a jeep ride on ft knox memorial day????

i've heard several rumors of this supposed once a year memorial day event in which ft knox allows jeeps and rock crawlers etc to come in and ride all day on the land. if this is true, i would definitely like to know more. anyone who knows anything please post up,thanks

OK this is true they open up the base on memorial day. But its not really so people can go wheelin on post. there are alot of old cemetery's out in the training area thats why they open it. So family's can go to there loved ones grave sites. But I guess you could go wheelin back there. Not sure if they would say anything or not.

Yea I knew they opened up for the cemeteries but I dint know if they had some kinda separate trail ride they did that day or not. I guess ppl just take advantage of it being open to the public and go wheeling on the tank roads and stuff.
