So earlier I was planning on making my way to see the Chatt. and Cleveland area and happened to come apon a huge rock slide outside of cleveland. Couldn't go any further. So tomorrow I'm going down and around into GA. Anyone know when this rock slide thing is supposed to be cleared? It's been what...5 months now!!
So far I like the rolling hills and mountain of TN. Not the Colorado rockies but TN will do. I give TN two thumbs up.

I was coming from the North Carolina and Georgia boarder at a families house; driving though 'Ducktown' (if i can remember right), on the I-64 or something. This is just 25 miles East of Cleveland. Apparently this rock slide happened close to 5 months ago and took out the main road. I plan on living in Chatt. or Cleveland and wanted to look at the area before moving and find a place to live. So ealier in the thread here I asked a few questions and now I'm off to actually see it all for myself. Thursday is when I'm driving up or down or around...What ever I have to do to get there.

you will have to come through tellico to get here because of that slide. in ducktown take 68 toward sweetwater, tellico stay on til you reach 411 go south to ocoee where you will pick up 64 into cleveland.

Don't really need this forum. just go to http://tnmudders.com/ ...the only place you need... and they don't have ridiculous "requirements"

I feel your pain...literally. Is it fixable? Hopefully your drunk driver will come out of this worse than you do. In my case you could say my Jeep won the fight as the other car was totaled. But now she's driving a new car (and still driving after her 3rd DUI!) and I have a wrecked and repaired Jeep. Makes ya want to
