Found out today, that my TJ has come down with a rod knock..... anybody know how to do a rebuild...... or any kind of knowledge that can help me?? I'm hoping the Jeep can make it untill May with out it but I need to start gathering my wits now. I'll be moving to lenox village in Nolensville come april so I will have a garage then.

Mine has been knocking since I purchased it last June. It still has 40lbs of oil pressure and runs very strong.

when your engine starts knocking fix it before its to late, i work on jeeps all day long, i have had to put 6 motors in jeeps this week, all of them had a knock and they kept driving until the rod or piston went through the block.

Check out TNmuddders or 4x4Grace (it might be switched around), majority of their members are in the tri-cities area.
