Places to go wheelin near Memphis

I posted this in the correct place about local trails and did not get any responses. I was wondering if anyone knew of some good, (legal or mostly legal) places to go wheeling near Memphis. Could be east AR, West TN, or North MS. Thanks for your help.

Go to this forum and ask that question. Lots of wheelers from this area there.

golden triangle jeepers? They go to grayrock and windrock a lot.

There is Wheelin' In the Country in west TN, and there are some trails at the Land between the Lakes up around Kentucky Lake. If you need some links or want to go wheelin' sometime, shoot me a PM

edit: here is a link for Land between the Lakes: http://www.kentuckylake.com/lbl/ohv-map.htm

There are also tons of wildlife management areas through the TWRA... but to really be legal you have to have a WMA permit to be on the land. It's about $50 a year. I have no idea which (if any) WMAs have any decent wheeling. I wouldn't expect much, as they try to keep their gravel roads pretty easy to traverse. http://www.state.tn.us/twra/hunt001d.html

I know a lot of people take their 4-wheelers and dirt bikes down to Wolf River at Covington Pike. I don't know how legal it is...or how safe it is. That area is close to the part of town where they find dead bodies. LBL is only a couple of hours away. Let me know if you find a good place close by.

I believe their is a club in Memphis. I think it is Midsouthjeepers try googling and see what you get. I see some of those guys on here sometimes, I am sure they will chime in if they see your thread. There is also supposed to be a nice place in Arkansas to wheel. I believe it is Hot Springs.
