Yj help me find a 4wd shop/mechanic in TN

im new to the area and still cant really even find anywhere to go jeepin, or find someone who can do a decent job workin on my jeep for that matter...
im stationed at fort campbell and live in clarksville TN and desperately need to find an experienced mechanic who can install a slip-yoke eliminator and a new drive shaft, and the bushing that goes around the output shaft of my transfer case, and i need to make sure i dont have this same problem again.
i keep getting screwed around and told different things by dumb local places and service centers who deal with normal person cars and i need my jeep worked on by a proffessional this time. i wouldnt know where to start if i did it myself... so whats a good 4wd shop around fort campbell KY???

nickmonaco, I'm in Mount Juliet and one of my good buddies is also stationed at ft campbell.... so you're not too far away, about 45 minutes. The mechanic I use when I need one is:

Burt Gentry @ Gentry's Tire & Auto Repair
2705 McCampbell Ave.
Nashville, TN
(615) 889-6247

Even though it's a Nashville address, it's right here next to me in Mount Juliet / Hermitage. If you want a 4 wheel drive specific shop, these are the two best places to go:

1) TN Offroad in Lebanon, TN
2) 4 Wheel Parts in Nashville, TN

Both will make sure to get things done right... but the first one will be cheaper and closer for you.

As for places to wheel in TN... there are a TON. I'm not sure if you're more into trail riding, rock crawling, mudding, etc... but here are some places right off hand:

Wooly's Offroad - Lewisburg (I think this is the city), TN
Coal Creek / Wind Rock - Knoxville, TN
Golden Mountain - Sparta, TN
Wheelin In The Country - Summertown, TN
Turkey Bay OHV Area @ Land Between The Lakes (Not in TN, but just as close as any others)

Let me know if you need anything else!
