Good Jeep Mechanic or Shop in Nashville, TN

Greetings all,

Could anyone reccomend a good Jeep mechanic or even dealer service department in the Nashville, TN area?

I have a case of the angry sparrows and I just don't really have the time and place to tackle it myself right now. I pulled the front driveshaft and the noise went away, so I'm thinking the CV joint is the culprit.

I had a local driveshaft shop take the joint and shaft apart, clean and repair if necessary. They said it was fine, couldn't see a problem. When I attempted to re-install the shaft, I attached it at the transfer case first, but then I couldn't get the shaft to compress enough to get it in to the front yoke.

I don't object to paying to get this fixed, but I'd like to know that whoever I take it to knows what they are doing when it comes to Jeep driveline repair.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have heard the same. Guy at work had some axles in there to get re-worked and his only complaint was he was slow to get them done. Took better than two months as I recall to get what he wanted done to them.

It is in Murfreesboro ( which, given another year or two will be a true suburb of Nashville)but the most dependable that I have found for heavier weld work on my Jeeps that I cannot do myself - is Essentially Off Road . Their facebook page that links from the website will get the quickest response after a phone call. Dependable and more time conscious than what I have heard other local* places can be.

<* I also had a friend that dropped a Jeep off at TOR and it took months.>
