coming from Jonesboro, go past the new Walmart towards the new chick filla, pass the liquor store, over the bridge, and when you see big field across the street from the power plant, Look for a sign advertising the land. Turn right at the sign. The turn is about 100 yards from chick filla. from the turn you'll see a couple of big abandon parking lots, you just follow that and you'll find it all. If you want, I can probably go tomorrow night

I will look again. I work the next 4 nights. I am hoping to go to Harlan KY in the next few weeks but wanted to go closer to home before making the trip.

COOL! I just found this thread, I'm in Elizabethton. Anybody interested in a ride let me know, I usually frequent Holston mtn, dennis cove, etc.

BTW anybody else heard rumors of the green men shutting down little stoney trail or Bumpus cove in the near future? Supposedly they have already closed the lower entrance to stoney in the last few weeks......

I go here locally in town pretty often but I haven't been to the mountains in a year. I'm free most Thursdays. Also Saturday early morning

95 yj. 2.5L 10" lift on 37's. I live between jc and Elizabethton. Right next to Milligan college. If we go anywhere, I'd really prefer less than 45 minute drive because it'll only go about 55 on the highway. I'm trying to compress a picture to post because this thing won't let me upload anything bigger than 150kb
