East TN Trails

Hey guys,
I'm looking for off the beaten path trails in East TN. Everyone does Windrock and Royal Blue around here, but where else do you go?

There are a ton of trails around my end of the woods. Bumps cove, stoney creek, horse creek, buffalo mountain and that's a few. I am from the Johnson city/tricities area if you ever want to go out just let me know

I may take a weekend trip up there soon, then. It's a bit far for a day trip for me from here.

Where in East TN are you, that might help narrow down the trails around you.

I'm just north of Knoxville, but I don't mind traveling a bit to find some gems.

How about any trails in the Crossville area? Catossa?

I live in Rockwood and hope to start exploring trails around here!

I've been to Catoosa a couple of times. I found 1 really good trail up there and there's still more area to cover then I have time. If you're in Rockwood you should check out the Wartburg area. Lots of cool spots up there.

I've just spent some time on ironjeep.com (thanks to you). I think there is good areas not far from me.
Hope to get out some this Fall and start exploring. We will be looking for trails that won't require any "special" equipment.

We have several good ones around Chattanooga but prob a bit of a haul for you. Golden Mountain is always a fun place to ride. Jellico is pretty close to you and not a bad place to ride either.

Yeah Chatt is a bit far for a day trip for me. I've heard there are trails in Jellico, but I haven't found any public trails yet.
