Wheeling/camoning in Va.

Was looking for a good spot to go camping for spring break, I live in hampton roads an dont really want to drive 5 hours to a camping spot. Would like to get some wheelin in while I'm there, any suggestions?

Closest legal place to Hampton roads will be shoe creek. It's also an awesome camping area which is all free. It is near montebello Va if you google it approx 3 hours from Hampton roads dependin on your location

I believe it was about 3-4 hrs last time I looked. Sounded like a great place to go too. Might go there
