Guys I'm thinking of heading up from Greensboro and was wondering about lodging. Should we stay in Lynchburg or what would you recommend? Do people camp or stay, or just drive home? Also, is there the ability to do just some trail riding and light wheeling? I was checking out some YouTube vids and I'm really not wanting to do any body damage on a tree. Not being a puss but my jeep is brand freakin new and I want to use it but not tear it up ya know. Im also new to this so im pretty green. Looks like a good time. Thanks in advance

Everything is bypassable. This is where camp jeep used to be held and many stock jeeps made it through the place just fine. The only place there isn't and offical bypass is CJ-5 and there is allways a winch available to help you up. If you camp, "primitave" camping is on site with a couple of pora-johns, or near by look up Amhearst, harmony hill bed and breakfast or places in Lynchburg. I usually camp, its a great chance to meet people and learn stuff. All the guides are awesome and are allways willing to help spot, talk about the trail ahead etc.

There is some overgrowth that we have been working on cutting back, but nothing that a good wax and buff usually wont take out.

From your signature you should have no problem on the trails... come on and have a great time!

Remember most people dont post up the nice gently parts of the trail on youtube.......

The time now is 02:36 AM.
