Wheelin' 4 hope will be back in 2012.
Put April 21-22 on your calenders.

Wheelin' 4 Hope is a fund raiser that supports the American Cancer Society through Relay for Life.

How are the trails out at oak ridge? I've heard a lot about and really want to check it out but would like a little more info on the trails ... thanks

Oakridge is really like anything you would want from 2 days of wheeling. Remember camp jeep was held here for many years. THere are lines on all the trails that challenge most vehicles and there are bypasses.

I have seen full blown rigs to stockers go out there and have a great time. It is basically a 47 mile loop that takes about 2 trail days to complete as long as no one gets hung up too bad, breaks, or the groups are too large.

Some people complain about the "riding" between obsticals but that is the other end of the spectrum that make it so appealing. My 73 year old Dad was out there for the Va4wda annual (his 4th)in September and loved it.

THe wheelin for hope is a fantastic cause and it is (to the best of my knowledge) 1 of only 2 4 wheel events that take place at Oakridge every year.....
