This should get you close, if you get out there, look up a Ranger station online before you go, can get maps at the stations once in the GWNF.

i live in Broadway and I am familiar with Second Mt....... Get to Broadway Exit 257 on 81 Left off the exit from the south Pight form the north follo 259 til you get 2 the 2nd stoplight in Broadway at the Ford dealer and the cement plant take a left follow 259 til You see turner Hams market about 5 or so miles outa town take a left that rd. and follow it a ways... its a few minutes... till you c Gospel hill church on the right and take long run rd. to the top of the mt. its 6 miles from the bottom. Take a left at the intersection at the top
XJ 35's locked Gas Tank in the Trunk Shox Hoops in the rear.

All those trails are most easily accessed by taking Rt 33 West out of Harrisonburg. PM me if you want details.
