Tidewaer Area

I wanted to pass on some information for anyone in the Tidewater area. I am a member of an organization called, Southside Severe Weather Assistance Team. We work with local Medical and other folks in transporting personnel. We are also aligned with the local Citizens Emergency Response Team (CERT). Most of our members are CERT qualified from the various cities in the area. We assist in any and all inclement weather. We are always looking for more volunteers. Here is a link to our Meet Up page. If anyone is interested, or you can contact me.

I'm a member of various groups with Rob above. We recently participated in the Disaster Readiness Fair held by Lowe's of Portsmouth. We had a great time meeting new folks, telling them about what we did and how they could become a part of our group. We've got more exciting events coming soon. This is not a Jeep-only group either. Come join us and bring your friends with other 4x4s!

Today our group participated in a large-scale drill with CERT, MRC, CART and Netguard. We provided transportation for personnel and supplies into and injured individuals out of a remote campsite. We extracting multiple victims with multiple methods and multiple vehicles. It was a fantastic showing from all involved!
