State inspection

Hey guys, I got a beautiful 04 Rubicon with a ton of custom mods. I have passed this Jeep last Jan, But now, two shops failed me for different issues.

Somethings where very legit, like brake hard lines not connected to the axle-Fixed

Brake light- Fixed

Headlights- fixed, apparently they didnt know how to turn on the fogs:laugh:

Then three years ago i went with a Fuel cell. Evap lines in tact, no CEL, or Codes- Fail. I think these shops werent really knowledgable or just didnt understand it possibly? But it hasnt been an issue in the past until now.

So as of now, I need to pick up a missing Body hold down bushing and install that, and get it inspected.

If anyone could help me out with this, Please Email me ThornhillJM@gmail.com

PM box is full, and JF isnt accepting my card today:confused:

Thanks everyone!! Also, Im in Richmond VA, Or Ashland VA!:cheers2:

19VAC30-70-320. Fuel system.
INSPECT FOR AND REJECT IF:
1. Any part of the fuel system is not securely fastened.
2. There is fuel leakage at any point in the fuel system.
3. The fuel tank filler cap is missing.
4. The fuel tank crossover lines are not protected.
5. Any part of the fuel system comes in contact with the exhaust system.
Statutory Authority
46.2-1165 of the Code of Virginia.

Just so you know for future reference, these are the laws pertaining to the fuel system. As long as your system meets all of these requirements, it passes VA safety inspection. You can come to my shop and we'll take a look at your Jeep if you want. Complete Automotive of Richmond.

Yeah, I think I have that link saved.. Or screen shot. It meets all requirements to my knowledge, I would like to know if it isn't, and what I should do to fix it... If I would be to overlook it..
