Offroad/Fab shop business prospects

If an offroad/fab shop were to be started in central to southside VA area code 23921 providing services such as gear swaps, axles swaps, suspension work and upgrades, and things like that maybe even tube work. Would there be enough interest and need for something like this?

My buddy is just getting Stone Offroad going in the Virginia Beach area. Seems like your location is even better. Closer to the trails seems like a good thing.

Southern performance in VA beach is always slammed with business and they specialize in offroad Jeeps and trail rigs.

VA Beach has a million potential customers, though, a lot of whom are active duty (steady jobs!).
Even though Buckingham is close to Oak Ridge/Shoe Creek/Big Levels, can you afford the overhead with a much smaller list of potential clients?
I've been in C'ville for about 9 months, and aside from Brown's Jeep (dealer), I don't know of any 4x4 shops here! Is it worth the hour drive up here to run a business? I'm just thinking out loud, here, but I personally would love to have a good shop. Most people that come out to Nelson County from Richmond/Tidewater go through Charlottesville (64W to 29S), or they take 60W from Chesterfield/Powhatan.

Yeah, that is exactly my thought. The startup cost and overhead is the problem. Which Is why I am here to see how many people it could benefit. I didn't really care for the frag-out stuff.

Rock Works Fab is in Crozet, just outside of Charlottesville.
