Anyone want to go trailin in the GW forest between soon and Christmas? I have only been there once but it was at night so I didn't explore any. I'm stock.

I've been wanting to hit Crabtree Falls/Shoe Creek. I'm willing to drive up to run it.

just to make sure all know. I am new to off-roading. My jeep is still stock. I just want to say that again BC I know that there are trails that I can't hit yet and don't want you to make a trip thinking of more advanced trails. By they way just because my jeep is new does not mean that I'm not willing to test it or myself.

Don't sweat it. I'm not hard core, and I hear shoe creek is stock friendly. You should be fine. I will see if I can round up a few guys to come up. When do you guys want to try to meet up?

Just got back from GWNF. There is a thick layer of ice under the snow. Can cause very scary situations without any warning.

Parts of the mountain were very nasty lase weekend, but its supposed to be around 60 this saturday so most everything should be melted or close to it.

I wouldn't worry about it though, Shoe Creek should be fine and like i said if you want to join my group of people just hit me up in a PM.

I'd like to go. My WK is also stock, getting the RC 2" lift for Christmas and I've never gone on a trail before. If the trail is too difficult for someone new to this and stock feel free to say so.

I wouldn't mind trying at least. My friend rode his dirt bike on it a few years ago and said the bypass for slick rock was tricky for even his bike so I'm a little Leary I won't lie.
