Hey folks out there in and around charlottesville va. I have joined a group of jeep enthusiast here in charlottesville va to get together for rides, jeep discussing, building and generally just having a good time and helping each other out. We are a free club and always looking for new members. If you're interested let me know.:cheers2:
hey there we'd love to have ya come out and hangout with us i'd love to hear about gwnf was thinking about setting up a camping trip sometime in april:cheers2:
I'm down in Nelson county. Been jeepn in this area since camp jeep came and went, now the tired 90 yj sits in the carport waiting to hit the trails. Been. A member va4wdA and united four wheel drive associations since 2k. I'm game for some responsible trail riding to keep trails open in the national forests. Ben
I will be at Crozet 4/9-4/10 if anyone is interested. Camping is free and the trails are much more challenging than GWNF. Here is a link if you are interested.
Hey there! New to this forum and looking to meet some jeep cats in the charlottesville area to share an obsession and hit the trails with... we would love to join your next meet and greet if there is one. :cheers2:
I am interested in the club if you guys are talking about a group that is interested in wheeling, not really if it is more about show and shine if you know what I mean.
Show and shine!?!? In my opinion those words and jeep don't go together. We wheel and have a great time just hanging out either this Friday or Saturday coming up not the one we're on but the following we are either going bowling or camping.
I talked to the park ranger earlier this week. He said we can trail ride in and camp where ever I'll have to pick up a map but according to him should be simple trails this go around which is fine cause none of us have ever been there so we're just checking it out this run.
just to let everyone know there are other clubs in the area with highly active membership.
rcpfa and NOVA jeepers are the two most active in va at the moment.
NOVA jeepers are holding a trail ride in GWNF april 9th to support the family of a fellow jeeper who lost his battle with cancer. there will be a day trip and a night ride also! a full day of wheeling!
Well thank you but my club is active and I met up with your president and planning a trip out there. We're not rock crawlers but we know how to have a good time.
It was a lot of fun rode on some of their short trails then hit one of the longer ones till we couldn't drive anymore camped out now I gotta plan another trip out there to try some of their other trails.
The gwnf trip was definatley fun just to get out and check things out. I am glad we ran out of trail when we did, that camp site was awesome aside from the ghosts of backpackers past...
