Central Virginia Jeep Clubs?

Hey folks,

I'm looking to join an active jeep club somewhere in central Virginia (Charlottesville to be specific). If you are part of a club, or know of a local one, please forward their contact information.

In the meantime, I'm always looking for folks to roll with in GWNF (Shoe Creek/Crab Tree, FR 42, any other place I may not yet have heard of).

Thanks,

Jeff

Check out Southsidejeepers.com. They are out of the Richmond area. I'm also from the C'ville area, I love the Shoe Creek trail, haven't been to FR42, I also would like to try Stoney Run sometime up near Stuarts Draft. Maybe we can get together sometime and hit some trails

FR42, also known as Coal Rd. has some decent trails and mud holes. Here's a track from my first venture through there, coming in from the "bottom" via the Parkway. I never found my way to the top (sun was setting) but I know there is multiple routes and some pretty awesome camp sites, if you don't mind the elevation.

I'm also looking to meet & ride with people....I'll also be checking out the southsidejeepers.com
I've heard great things about all those places, & just went to Shoe Creek a couple weeks ago - had a blast!

Anyone going to the Uhwarrie event Nov. 6-8??

Wow you guys are in a great area for wheelin and dont know it yet. Look up Star city crawler 4X4(SCC4X4.com) and Rock crawlers for the preservation of future access (RCPFA) they are out of roanoke and crozet. Lots of big rock crawling and other stuff as well.

X2 on RCPFA... Haven't joined yet, but I know a few of their members... Looks to be a great group, and they have a good bit of land (I want to say 100 acres?) out in Crozet, which is one of the best rock parks on the East coast.
