Black Friday Big Levels/Shoe Creek run

Who amongst us would rather bounce around on the Big Levels/Shoe Creek Trails on Black Friday than go to the malls and fight the crowds trying to get the new Elmo Doll? I'm just trying to guage some interest in a trip-maybe just a day trip, maybe an overnighter, depending on what everyone else has going on.

If we go, we'd be leaving from the Short Pump area early Friday morning, hopefully in time to get up to the trail about 8:30-9:00 am.

There would be a few non-Jeeps in the mix, but all good guys, all nice trucks, and a good time would be had by all.

We are planning on running Shoe Creek on Friday and staying at the Acorn Inn Friday night. I would say we'll be back to Crabtree on Saturday, perhaps Big Levels to end the trip before we head home. I know that one buddy will be in his Xterra, and I havent gotten a yes or no from another who wheels a Defender.
I'm sure we'll cross paths somewhere out there. We'll keep our eyes peeld for y'all.

Have you checked prices for this yet? Let me know how much in case it's rather chilly

I thought the prices were really reasonable. I've never been there, but after reading the stuff on the website, I think it will be rather nice.

If you're gonna stay there and play, bring an acoustic guitar. We'll be sure to be strummin' somethin'!

Hmmm, maybe a jk forum of sorts?? Lol, my friend is the one setting things up for that run. He says we are up to 25 jeeps, but I will not be in attendance- work takes priority.

O yea this is referencing our trail group of 27 lol. If I counted correctly this is what we are at now. The plan is to go do big levels sunday morning on the way home. Feel free to tack on to our group. Right now if my supervisors calculations were right we will have a convoy over a mile long going down the interstate. Just let me know and I will update our list of wheelers.
