I'm right behind you at 175k, I'm thinking about it but I really don't have anything to go camping, not a tent, cooler, Etc etc

Does this place require tow points for the front ? I mean if I decide to could I meet up with you down in Richmond

How technical is this trail?

How technical is this trail. On the map it's shown as a fire road which could mean lots of things.

I could get to C-ville as I have a place to stay there, but not sure a stocker will handle the trail when i finally get my jeep.

A stocker will handle the easier line (it zig zags up the mountain). There's a harder route that takes you more or less straight up the side. My stock TJ with 31s made it, but it was a rough ride.

I was talking 250 from richmond to Uwharrie. Aslong as you have a tow point that would be good. One front and rear would be preferable. There is near by loding or camp grounds. I got a site $12/night. And im probably gonna use a tarp and hammock.
If you wanted to meet in richmond and follow down thatd work.

Back on topic....
Big levels is easy or moderate depending on the line as stated.

If you take the switchbacks a stock 4x4 would be fine. Just be careful with the watet holes. Some can be deep. Most have if not all have bypasses.

XJ with 3" and 30s i was fine on the straight up part.

Last time I went, a stock FJ Cruiser and a stock LJ followed me up the center "hard line" with no issues.
