That's what I have for a handheld. Works pretty OK. Paid like $90 for it back in 93-ish.

88 YJ, 4.2L, AX-15, NP231 w/ SYE, 3.5" RC lift, 1" booms
Cut down XJ shaft in rear
Ford 8.8 LS & Spartan Locked
D30
Big Daddy Off Road rock sliders
35x12.5 BFG A/T KOs, XRC-8000

Mine in my Jeep isnt working right now and $15 bucks for a handheld is a cheap easy and fast solution for this weekends trip! As long as it will work on the trail and the drive up thats all I care about. doesnt have to reach a long distance.

Is it Saturday yet? Mostly packed already (for either trip) and still have 2 days to remember what's missing in that empty space. Didn't have any room left last trip.

Still debating w all this rain we've gotten I'm a lil worried the old Heep will give me problems :/

Yup^

I will have all fluids, spare Ujoints, ujoint press, spare twigs for the d35 and tons of tools. What can I say, we expedition by ourselves a lot and I aint getting stuck on some forest road in WV

I got plenty of fluids. A 400+ piece tool box and some other odds and ends.

I have a small survival bag with a few tools. My toolbox that used to be in my jeep got stolen.

In the meantime I just fill the empty spot with food and snacks
